The Difference

At Artisan the roar of the grinder kicks in once you’ve made your order so you know your coffee will be fresh every time.

Artisan is a coffee focused, fun loving space that flirts with pushing design boundaries. We have built everything by hand around the Barista, so they have the space they need to prepare the most beautiful coffees. Our Baristas treat each cup like a fine chef does a meal, taking pride and time to ensure each coffee is flawless. We continuously adjust the grind to allow for changes in the atmosphere, which is just one of the many steps we take to make sure your espresso is just right. Surprisingly our Baristas also like to clean… we clean vital parts of our lovely La Marzocco FB/80 all day long.

We like to get geeky – we spend our evenings talking about brew ratios, TDS levels (that’s the water and our reverse osmosis system), water pressure and, microfoam, to name a few. This is not just because we love what we do, but because we want you to discover the beauty of great coffee.

The Roaster

We source our freshly roasted beans from Allpress Espresso, a specialist London based roaster and we serve their signature blend of Brazil, Sumatran, Colombian and Guatemalan origins that has been roasted in the classic Milanese style and offers a rich, full-bodied flavour. We love the body and flavour of our coffee, but don’t just rely on that – all of our baristas have over two years’ experience and love what they do
